Day of the dead

The day of the dead is a festival occurs on the 1st and 2nd of November. This festival is cerebrated in Mexico.It is cerebrated by not only Mexican people but also people living in the United States and Canada. The holiday focuses to remember friends and family members who have died. It's like "OBON" in Japan. During this festival, there are alot of decolation. For example, marigolds, sugar skulls, favorite foods and so on. In our image, skeletons are scary thing, but in the festival, they are decolated brightly.Look at this picture. Don't you think this is cute? People are olso decorated. Many people join to the costume procession. Their costume is characteristic and unique. I thought this custom is similar to Halloween.

Glaciers in New Zealand

　　　　　
I want to write about glaciers in New Zealand. In New Zealand, there are more than 150 glaciers which have a name.　The biggest glacier in the southern hemisphere is Tasman glacier. It is near Mount Cook. The glacier which is the most famous in New Zealand is Franz Joseph glacier and the Fox glacier which are famous as twin glacier in the southern island West Coast district. These two glaciers moved from the mountaintop to the foot of the mountain with sharpening girth little by little while several　thousand years. This movement made it easy to climb mountain and trecking. If you want to, you can climb the glaciers on foot, or you can join a tour using a helicopter. It will be very nice!

"Ponyo on the cliff by the sea"

　I went to watch a Japanese animated film entitled ” Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea”. It is the latest film directed by Hayao Miyazaki.
Ponyo was a little mermaid who had a human face looked like a little girl. A little boy who was five years old , his name was Sosuke, lived in a house on the cliff by the sea. One day, when Sosuke was playing on the beach nearby his house, Ponyo came to there form the sea. Sosuke , who thought it was a goldfish, and caught Ponyo. Ponyo loved Sosuke, and Sosuke loved Ponyo too . Though Ponyo had to come back to the sea, she wanted to become a human. So, she used her magic power. And strange incidents happened after another. This clip is the trailer of "Ponyob on the cliff". If you interested in this movie, you shoud wachi this!


　Next, I would like to describe about a theme song of Ponyo on the cliff by the sea.
This song is sang by Ohashi Nozomi, 8years old young girl, andtwo man called Fujioka Fujimaki. This is music by Hisaishi Jyo. This song is sold in December 5th last year and it's sold before the movie was opened . It's singular case. Because This song was considerd to become a christmas present for children, it was sold in December. This song had gone up in the charts and the song became one of ten most popular songs then. This song was also used as a campaing CM song of "MITSUYA CIDER(an famouse aerated drink in Japan)".
If you hear this song, the sound of them singing voice stayed with you.

Let's have calorie-reduced meals!

Eating much fast food is bad for our health because it has too much calories. So it is not good to diet. We often choose low-calorie foods worring about calories but we can't have a feeling of fullness.
I am going to introduce about some points when we eat fast foods.

Distinguish law calorie food!

• Choose the food used a lot of vegetables
• Deep flied food, cheese, mayonnaise, sause, dressing=high calory!
• Pay attention to drinks!(Choose a drink like a noncalory tea or jasmin tea)
• Endure the dessert!
