I want to write about glaciers in New Zealand. In New Zealand, there are more than 150 glaciers which have a name. The biggest glacier in the southern hemisphere is Tasman glacier. It is near Mount Cook. The glacier which is the most famous in New Zealand is Franz Joseph glacier and the Fox glacier which are famous as twin glacier in the southern island West Coast district. These two glaciers moved from the mountaintop to the foot of the mountain with sharpening girth little by little while several thousand years. This movement made it easy to climb mountain and trecking. If you want to, you can climb the glaciers on foot, or you can join a tour using a helicopter. It will be very nice!
